~About Me~
I remember as a little girl watching Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel with my grandparents and thinking, "I want to be her when I grow up" Well that thought somehow became a reality and now I am living my version of just that! My passion is travel and to inspire others to explore this beautiful world God has given us! I believe as people begin to get out of their neighborhoods, towns, cities, states, countries and abandon the need for familiarity there will be more tolerance and acceptance in the world. Travel is a sure way to break sterotypes, experience different cultures and interact with people who are completely different than you. Placing yourself in unfamiliar environments and being open to learn about those people and environments will help cure a lot of the hate in our world. There's something so powerful about going somewhere completely new and connecting with places and people outside your norm. Travel is more than just seeing pretty places with your eyes but it's a catalyst that can produce a perspective change that the world is actually bigger than you. I also believe there is a traveling angel you'll meet on every adventure. There are so many kind people in this world that I've met by traveling. I'm also obsessed with knowing the sales tax everywhere I visit. I guess it's the business woman in me :) So grab your passport or just your ID and travel with me!
